Charityware license - how to obtain

I've spent a considerable amount of my spare time on coding Console2, versions up to 2.7 were released for free.

Version 3.x is almost free, there is a small twist, if you want to use it you'll need a license.

But I don't want your money, I've decided to make v3.x charityware, it means that if you want to use v3.x you'll need to donate $100 USD to a charity of your choice.

If you want to give more, go ahead, I won't stop you. :-)

How does it work?

Find a charity you like, if you want to help people or animals, it doesn't matter.

  1. Make a new donation to a charity of your choice OR
  2. Send an e-mail to [email protected] with some proof of your donation
  3. Include some details for the license file such as your name (first and last), e-mail, your organization (if any), your phone (optional)
  4. I'll generate a license file that is valid for v3.x and e-mail it you
  5. Install the license file
  6. Enjoy your increase in productivity
  7. Download and run it (Requires Java 8) - for version information see CHANGELOG.TXT
